Information Communications Technology (ICT)

The ICT forum seeks to increase the effectiveness of its participants at the regional and local level, in supporting the operational and technical aspects of information and communications technology for humanitarian relief and emergency response. The sub-group works in partnership with other global ICT networks like the Nethope in pursuing its vision.

To be the leading ICT forum for humanitarian solutions in Africa.

Vision:

Bring about transformative Change in the humanitarian sector through ICT driven solutions

Membership:

Open to ICT representatives of INGOs, NGOs, regional bodies like the IGAD, UN, and the Red Cross among other interested parties

The sub-group holds bi-monthly meetings.
